Past events have always involved considerable sections of the local community as audiences or participants and school visits are to be encouraged for the future. We have previously hosted various community groups, workshops and public meetings; artists from Area10 have regularly contributed to local events such as Camberwell Arts Week, Flavas of Peckham and I Love Peckham Festival. This new platform has especially been set up to promote community participation and educational projects in the arts that are diverse, challenging and ambitious.
