The dimensions and special character of the varied spaces have inspired imaginative and intriguing ways of curating visual art exhibitions. Area 10 has enabled artists to display ambitious works of extremely large dimensions as well as small, intimate pieces in any medium, featured as elements of collective exhibitions or as individual projects. In order to maintain the integrity of the site’s character, Area 10 generally eschews gallery display conventions for static art pieces such as title and name tags or plinths. |
