AREA 10 creates artist led opportunities and activites that support and nurture artists making new work at a critical juncture in their practice.

The focus of this enquiry rests on the importance of creating space and structures for artists to come together, share ideas, work and take creative risks. These take the form of events, exhibitions, residencies, meetings, workshops, conversations, interventions and collaborations.

The project inspires and supports new work and collaborations that are often process led, participatory and without finite conclusion.

We have a rolling diary of experimental programming in a diversity of media including performance, sculpture, painting, photography, film making, installation, sound, new media and live art.

AREA10 presents an ever evolving, socially inclusive environment and situation for artist and audience to participate within. A live structure that can be enjoyed as a whole or through the individual works programed.

We are on Peckham Square in Eagle Wharf - a 25,000 square foot disused warehouse.

Area 10 was co-founded by University of the Arts Camberwell College of Arts alumnae & alumnus Emily Druiff, Dimitri Launder & Anila Ladwa.
